Evergreen、Yang Ming and Wan Hai launch North China- Straits Service in last September

Evergreen、Yang Ming and Wan Hai decide to launch a new joint service {NCS: North China- Straits Service}, linking North China, Singapore, Malaysia, Hingkong as of September 27. It provides customers with transportation among China and Southeastern Asia, but rapid shipping service connecting China and FarEast/Europe by setting a transit center in Singapore and Malaysia to meet customers' needs.

Three of Taiwan's leading carriers, Evergreen, Yang Ming and Wan Hai all got great performance wherever ocean-going or Intra-asia line and their service gained lots of credit and supports from customers. After observing the market tendency and customers' needs, they co-operate to launch a new joint service {NCS} for the first time to lift the loading factor and vessels of deployment, with flexible, rapid and reliable shipping service.

The service will employ three ships on a 21-day round-trip schedule with the following port rotation:
Xingang - Qingdao - Singapore - Port Kelang - Hongkong (mid-stream) - Xingang.

The first sailing in this new service will be made by Evergreen's 1618 TEU Uni-Prosper from Xingang on 27 September, followed by Yang Ming's 1512 TEU YM Fukuoka and Wan Hai's 1439 TEU Arabian Express.
