Wan Hai and Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha To Co-operate In New Transpacific Service
Wan Hai Lines Ltd (WHL) and Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd (“K”LINE) have just concluded an agreement to jointly operate a Transpacific service to the U. S. Pacific South West (Calco-B).

The Calco-B service is expected to commence in early May with five vessels of 4,000 TEU capacity, two by WHL and three by KLINE. The rotation will include Qingtao – Shanghai – Ningbo – Long Beach – Qingtao.

Together with this new joint service, Wan Hai Lines will enter into a cross-charter arrangement with KLINE on Calco-C service as well as COSCON’s SEA service, hence providing customers with more comprehensive service coverage.

Port Rotation: Xiamen / Hong Kong / Yantian / Shanghai / Long Beach / Oakland / Tokyo / Nagoya / Xiamen

▶ SEA (South East Asia – Japan Express) Service
Port Rotation: Nansha – Hong Kong – Yantian – Xiamen - Long Beach – Nansha
