2024.06 Notice on Wan Hai Lines about Regulations of Dangerous Goods Declaration

Dear Valued Customers,

Your esteemed company should strictly and continuously comply with the requirements in any laws, conventions, rules, or regulations in respect of, including but not limited to, declaration, packaging, labeling, carriage, or handling of Hazardous Cargo, and should honestly and accurately make declaration of Hazardous Cargo in accordance with the said requirements as well as the requirements made by us, the carrier, or our or the carrier’s agent prior to delivery of cargo to us at our designated depots/terminals.

With effective from 17th June 2024, your esteemed company, as either the Shipper, Consignee or Notify party, will be charged Penalty at USD100,000 per container as liquidated damages and an additional Deposit at USD100,000 per container, due to your incompliance, non-declaration, or failure to honestly and accurately make declaration of Hazardous Cargo, and we may, at our sole discretion, suspend or terminate the carriage of your cargo at any time and any place.

The above deposit will be used to cover any costs, expenses, losses and damages arising therefrom or in connection therewith, and to supplement if any shortfall.

We shall appreciate your acknowledgement and support, to make carriage of cargo safe.
